The app facilitates the comparison of tube feeding formulas, allowing dietitians and dietary professionals, as well as other healthcare practitioners, to easily evaluate the nutritional contributions based on various parameters such as the formula used, the delivery rate, and duration of administration. By inputting the feeding rate and duration, users can determine which formula most effectively addresses the patient’s specific nutritional needs. The functionality extends to calculating bolus feedings by entering the volume of a can or carton and specifying the number of cans or cartons administered daily.
